Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to construct bridges with various curves in plan without laterally bending processing of rails, by changing the position of rails by use of linear rails, in the extension block method of a curved bridge in plan view.
CONSTITUTION: A gate-type slide structure 10 supporting the floating force of the tail end of a rail 6 is fixed on an existing bridge block 50 with steel anchor rods 13 and provided with a sliding member with a low friction member 14, at the underface of a beam 11. The upper face of the tail end of the rail 6 slides on the underface of the baem 11 through the low friction member 14 to change the direction of rail.
