To solve a stain problem in an ink jet printing area caused during ink jet printing using a slow drying oil ink jet ink as to a corrugated cardboard using a coated white board having a whiteness of 70% or more and a specular gloss of 40% or more as a front side liner.
In producing this decorative corrugated cardboard, a coated white board is used on a front side liner and a pre-print flexographic printing or pre-print rotogravure printing is performed on the face of the liner before it is affixed to a corrugated cardboard. The cardboard is then formed in a box shape after a content is packed by a wraparound type or A-type, and ink jet printing is performed again. An absorptive layer for a slow drying oil ink jet ink is prepared in advance on an area designated for ink jet printing.
