Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative cover base material for a touch panel used for a touch panel mounted on a portable electronic terminal such as a smart phone, tablet, or note PC, or on an all-in-one PC, the decorative cover base material being manufactured in high productivity by forming a cover base material that is light weight and free from crack, and a decorative layer in a transfer system or the like by roll to roll, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A decorative cover base material 10 for a touch panel is a decorative thin film cover glass for touch panel, which is directly bonded on a hard display panel or arranged on a flexible display panel in layers. A decorative layer 3 as an outer film for a display screen is formed on a chemically-reinforced thin film glass member 1 of 0.03 to 0.25 mm thickness.
