PURPOSE: To obtain a decorative glass having stereoscopic expresses which are fine, sharp and deep, and hues and light transmissivity meeting applications by forming a cured layer having rugged patterns consisting of an ionization radiation curing resin contg. coloring pigments and/or glittering pigments on the surface of a glass base material.
CONSTITUTION: The ionization radiation curing resin contg. the coloring pigments and/or glittering pigments is applied on the surface of a glass base material 1 subjected to a primer treatment by extruding the resin liquid from a Tee die-shaped nozzle extruder 13, by which the rugged pattern forming layer 2' having a thickness of 10 to 300μm is formed. The rugged surface of a ruggedness molding sheet 5 having the desired rugged patterns 6 is brought into tight contact with the uncured rugged pattern forming layer 2' and is irradiated with ionization radiation from the sheet base material 5a side. The ruggedness molding sheet 5 is peeled from the rugged pattern forming layer 2' after curing of this layer, by which the cured rugged pattern forming layer 2 reproduced with the desired rugged patterns 6 on its surface is formed. Finally, the ionization radiation curing resin 3 is also applied on the rugged pattern forming layer 2 so as to fill the recessed parts of the forming layer and is cured to obtain the decorative glass 10.
