PURPOSE: To form an arbitrary pattern surface on a surface of a core to form various kinds of decorative laminates and to enhance finish of a pattern surface and a working efficiency by a method wherein a decorative laminate is formed by providing a pattern surface of cloth, staves, and enamel paint on a surface of a core.

CONSTITUTION: A decorative laminate is formed by providing a pattern surface of cloth, staves, and enamel paint on a surface of a core. Namely, cloth 2 and colored staves 3, 4 are used as pattern materials. A pattern surface is formed on a surface of a core 1 by the cloth 2, the colored staves 3, 4, and enamel paint 12. In this manner, a decorative laminate A is formed. For forming a pattern surface on the surface of the core 1 using the cloth 2, the cloth 2 with layout sheets 21-23 attached on the rear surface thereof is used. In this manner, an arbitrary pattern surface is formed on the surface of the core 1, various kinds of decorative laminates A can be formed, and the finish of the pattern surface and a working efficiency can be enhanced.
