Abstract:
To provide a decorative material in which the emission of formaldehyde from the decorative material itself, an adherend of the decorative material, or an adhesive between the decorative material and the adherend is reduced.
A transparent anatase-type titanium dioxide layer 4 is formed on the surface of a backing 1 having a decorative layer 2 through a transparent inorganic substance layer 3. Formaldehyde emitted from the decorative material itself, an adherend of the decorative material, or an adhesive between the decorative material and the adherend is decomposed by the anatase-type titanium dioxide layer 4 to reduce the emission of formaldehyde.
