To provide a decorative member of a window plate for a vehicle which is positioned easily with respect to the window plate and suitably responds to contraction caused by a temperature change.

The decorative member includes an outer wall part 21 arranged along a surface of the window plate 10 on an outer side of the vehicle when mounted on the window plate 10; an inner wall part 22 arranged along a surface of the window plate 10 on an inner side of the vehicle, and a side wall part 23 which connects the outer wall part 21 and the inner wall part 22 and is arranged in a position opposite to an end surface of the window plate 10. A groove part 24 for receiving an end part including the end surface of the window plate 10 is formed on a part surrounded by the outer wall part 21, the inner wall part 22, and the side wall part 23. A projection part 40 abutting on a lower end surface of the window plate 10 when mounted on the window plate 10 is projected in a direction of closing the groove part 24 on a lower part of at least one wall part out of the outer wall part 21, the inner wall part 22, and the side wall part 23. The projection part 40 is formed so as to be deformed more easily than the wall part on which the projection part 40 is formed.
