Title:
DECORATIVE PANEL BY TRANSFER PRINTING AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3580015
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To beautifully produce a decorative panel at a low cost without generating a gap at the mutual boundary of patterns by superposing a transfer sheet of a second pattern on a transfer sheet of a first pattern to place both sheets on the surface of a base material at a predetermined position and bonding the base material under heating and pressure and subsequently peeling off a base material sheet of all patterns.
SOLUTION: Frames (a), (b) and the transfer printing sheet of a center part (c) are prepared and respective transfer printing sheets (a), (b), (c) are cut to form transfer sheets A, B, C having the total dimensions with respect to dimensions slightly larger than the dimensions of the respective sheets (a), (b), (c) in longitudinal and lateral directions, that is, predetermined dimensions in both longitudinal and lateral directions. Next, the transfer printing sheets A, B, C are placed on a base material at predetermined positions in this order while the boundary parts of patterns are overlapped with each other. In this state, the transfer printing sheets A, B, C are heated and pressed by a hot press to be bonded to the base material and, after bonding under heating and pressure, the base material sheets of the transfer printing sheets A, B, C are peeled off successively from above, that is, in the order of C, B and A. By this constitution, a decorative panel having grain patterns transferred thereto is obtained.
