To improve working properties of a decorative plate for a decorative wall having a printed pattern on the surface by forming at least a base coat layer, a pattern layer, a surface protective layer in turn on an inorganic plate- shaped base material.
A decorative plate 1 for a decorative wall is constituted by laminating a sealer layer 3, a base coat layer 4, a pattern layer 5, and a surface protective layer 6 in turn on an inorganic base material 2. Especially, a ceramic siding material such as a fiber reinforced perlite cement slab is used as the inorganic base material 2. A two-component curing type urethane resin coating and others are used for the sealer layer 3. A two-component curing transparent or translucent acryl-urethane type coating can be used for the base coat layer 4 which is usually the substrate color layer of the pattern layer 5. A urethane resin, a urethane-acrylate resin, a silicone resin, a fluorocarbon resin, an organic/ inorganic composite polymer such as a metal alkoxide are used preferably for the protective layer 6.
