To decompose smell, mold, and a germ adhered on the surface without impairing a physical property of the surface by disposing a photocatalyst active substance showing photocatalystic activity and decomposing an organic substance through irradiation of UV rays on the surface layer of a decorative sheet.
The decorative sheet 10 includes a base material 12, a print layer 14, an organic giant molecular coat layer 16 for reinforcing a physical property of the surface of the decorative sheet, a decomposite function layer 18 being a surface layer containing a photocatalystic active substance for decomposing an organic substance, and an insulation layer 20 interposed between the coat layer and the decomposite function layer and insulating an effect to the organic layer of a photocatalystic active substance and the print layer. The decomposite function layer 18 consists of a film containing titanium oxide, and is a film formed of water dispersive sol liquid containing photocatalyst anatase-type titanium oxide ultra-minute grains by a sol gel method. Since the insulation layer 20 is preferably made up of an inorganic compound since an decomposlte effect of the titanium oxide acts mainly to an organic compound. Thus, the insulation layer 20 is composed of a silicon dioxide gel or porous alumina.
