PURPOSE: To impart antistatic properties to a base material without almost changing the hue of the base material by applying transparent conductive coating in a stripe pattern composed of fine lines in the almost same direction as grain pattern.
CONSTITUTION: Transparent conductive coating 2 is applied to the surface of a decorative sheet base material 1 made of a synthetic resin so as to desirably form a stripe pattern composed of a large number of fine lines formed in the almost same direction as the grain patterns 3 provided to the surface of said decorative sheet base material 1 to obtain an antistatic decorative sheet. The transparent conductive coating to be used is composed of a resin generally used as paint containing 0.1 - 20 wt.% of antimony and tin oxide having a mean particle size of 0.2 μm or less. The transparent conductive coating 2 is directly applied to the decorative sheet base material 1 on which the grain pattern 3 is printed or the transparent sheet coated with the transparent conductive paint 2 is laminated to the decorative sheet base material on which the grain pattern is printed. By this method, the reproducibility of the color of the base material 1 is markedly enhanced and excellent antistatic properties can be imparted while the expensive conductive coating is greatly reduced.
