Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the planning of quality corresponding to objective characteristics by forming an intermediate layer from a thermoplastic acrylic resin or a mixture prepared by adding a polyvinylidene fluoride resin to the thermoplastic acrylic resin and forming a surface protective layer from a polyvinylidene fluoride resin or a mixture prepared by adding a thermoplastic acrylic resin to the polyvinylidene fluoride resin.
CONSTITUTION: A decorative sheet consists of a base material sheet 7, the printing layer 8 having arbitrary printing patterns formed on the surface of the sheet 7, the adhesive 9 arbitrarily applied to the sheet 7, an intermediate layer 10, an arbitrary adhesive layer 12 and a transparent thermoplastic resin layer being a surface protective layer 12. The intermediate layer 10 is composed of a thermoplastic acrylic resin or a mixture prepared by adding a polyvinylidene fluoride resin to the thermoplastic acrylic resin. The surface protective layer 12 is composed of the polyvinylidene fluoride resin or a mixture prepared by adding the thermoplastic acrylic resin to the polyvinylidene fluoride resin. By selecting the material qualities of the thermoplastic resins of both layers, weatherability, contamination resistance and scratch resistance are obtained by the surface protective layer 12 and at the same time, light resistance and transparency are obtained by the intermediate layer 10.
