Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for conferring, onto the surface of a molding without subjecting the cavity plane of a mold to an embossing work, a crepe-like metallic sheen of a rich variation based on metal deposition.SOLUTION: The provided decorative synthetic resin molding 1 is a decorative synthetic resin molding 1 obtained by laminating an undercoat layer 2 atop the surface thereof, by laminating a metal deposition layer 3 atop the undercoat layer 2, and by further laminating a top clear coat layer 5 atop the latter, wherein the undercoat layer 2 is provided by dispersing particulates 2p, wherein a roughness P is formed on the upper surface of the undercoat layer 2 via the particulates 2p, and wherein a crepe-like metallic sheen manifests on the surface of the molding 1 by virtue of the metal deposition layer 3 laminated along this roughness P. Crosslinked urethane beads are used as the particulates 2p, whereas the undercoat layer 2 is UV-cured in a state where the surface of the molding 1 is being coated with an acrylic ultraviolet-curable coating liquid in which the particulates 2p are dispersed. The top clear coat layer 5 is a resin layer in which a pearly pigment is dispersed.
