Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more quickly perform carrying-in/carrying-out work of a work-piece.SOLUTION: A deep hole machining device performs drilling of a deep hole on an end surface of a columnar work-piece. The deep hole machining device comprises a rotatingly driven gun drill tool 11, a work-piece clamp device 6 for holding the work-piece so that the end surface of the work-piece is opposed to the gun drill tool 11, and means for moving the gun drill tool 11 with respect to the work-piece held by the work-piece clamp device 6. The work-piece clamp device 6 comprises a table 32 having a substantially horizontal work-piece support surface for supporting the work-piece, clamp members 50 for fixing the work-piece, and a clamp driving mechanism for driving these clamp members 50 in a vertical direction, and fixes the work-piece by pressing the work-piece from an upper side by driving of the clamp members 50. Each of the clamp members 50 has an inverse V-shaped clamp surface, and fixes the work-piece in a state of being positioned in a direction orthogonal to its axial direction by pressing the work-piece by the clamp surface.
