Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect predicting system of a structure which can rapidly and exactly estimate damage circumstances of the structure by an earthquake, after an earthquake has occurred and to provide a defect predicting program of the structure.
SOLUTION: The defect predicting system of the structure includes a storage means 21 for storing a plurality of different characteristics of simulated seismic waves related to dynamic response of the structure to the simulated seismic waves, a retrieving means 22 for retrieving the seismic waves approximating real seismic wave observed near the structure from the plurality of the simulated seismic waves stored in the means 21, and a display means 30 for displaying the dynamic response of the structure to the simulated seismic wave retrieved by the retrieving means 22.
