Abstract:
To allocate memory to an application thread.
An attempt is made to allocate an amount of memory 106 to the application thread 131. If the attempt is unsuccessful and the application thread is designated for deferred memory allocation, the application thread is stored in a hold queue 129. While the application thread is stored in the hold queue, reallocation of the amount of memory to the application thread is periodically attempted.
