PURPOSE: To smoothly operate the winding work of a vertical deflecting coil without worsening a piling degree of winding, by means of arranging a winding groove of winding guide in the same plane at head part side and tail part side for every corresponding wound position of the vertical deflecting coil at head part side and tail part side.

CONSTITUTION: Through a winding groove 13, 14 constructed by a winding stopper protrusion 11, 12 provided in a winding guide 9, 10, is made toroidal winding a vertical diflecting coil 3 on a core 2 in V-letter-shape, and the core 2, with the vertical deflecting coil 3 provided, is limited in its positioning by mutually engaging an engagement groove 15, 16 provided in the winding guide 9, 10 and an engagement piece 17, 18 provided in a bobbin 4, and fixed to an optimum position on the bobbin 4, with a horizontal deflecting coil 5 provided, constituting a deflecting yoke. A winding groove 13, 14 constructed in the winding guide 9, 10 fixed to each opening end of the core 2 is provided in the same plane for every corresponding wound position. The vertical deflecting coil 3 can be smoothly engaged to the winding groove 13, 14 at the time of winding.
