Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve such a defect that this detector is not suited for a small diameter drill and requires much detection time, even if the deflection of a rotating drill is detected by the touch center of a dial gage.
CONSTITUTION: The size difference of a pair of escapes 4, 4' is detected by giving and reflecting a light or an electric undulation to the surface of a drill 1, operating at an operation unit 11 and calculating the size of a pair of escapes 4, 4' from the length of this reflected undulation. This size difference becomes the deflection of the axial center of the drill 1.
