Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow the correction of a specific cross mis-convergenece pattern arising between a pair of side beams.
CONSTITUTION: A saturable reactor for a deflection device is provided with saturation control coils 43a, 43b connected in series to horizontal deflection coils 47a, 47b and impedance control coils 44a, 44b, 44c connected to a pair of vertical deflection coils 48a, 48b. With the impedance control coils 44a, 44b, 44c, 44d wound adjacent to the outside of the saturation control coils 43a, 43b, a core area, most liable to saturation by the saturation control coils, is used as a saturable core operation area.
