To provide a connection terminal, dispensing with soldering in attachment by reducing the stress applied on a discharge tube, due to displacement of a discharge tube electrode to the utmost, when attaching the discharge tube, and to provide a strobe emission part having the terminal.
The terminal 33 includes an electrode-grasping part 332, provided with a groove or a slot 335 capable of receiving the electrode 151 of the discharge tube 15, a fixing part 333 and a deformable part 334 for connecting the electrode-grasping part 332 and the fixing part 333. The deformable part 334 includes a first end 334a having a substantially U-shape and connected to the electrode-grasping part 332, and a second end 334b connected to the fixing part 333. The first end 334a and the second end 334b are relatively easily movably constituted substantially vertical with respect to the center axis of the discharge tube 15 and is in a direction substantially vertical to the depth direction of a slot.
