Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a deformation preventively cramping method for works, with which small or thin works can be certainly cramped as eliminating excessive deformation of the works caused by the cramp, without disturbing automatization and labor saving brought by NC.
CONSTITUTION: A work to be processed according to the order given by a NC device 24, is placed on a work table. The positions of a plural number of to be processed parts on the work are measured by a touch probe 28, before and after the work is cramped by a cramp device 30 set on the work table. Based on the data 50 for calculation of work displacement quantity, the displacement quantity of each of the parts to be processed is calculated by a comparison operational part 46, compared with the displacement allowable value memorized in a memorial part 42, and the maximum allowable cramping force of the cramp device 30 to each of the plural number of parts, to be processed is determined, so that the displacement quantity does not exceed the allowable value. When the NC processing is performed, the work is cramped by controlling the cramp device 30 as having the maximum allowable cramping force and being changed as occasion demands, by means of a cramp control part 48, according to the movement of processed parts to be processed.
