To provide a deformed stainless steel rod material for a concrete reinforcement which is excellent in corrosion resistance.
A deformed rod material 1 is formed by cold rolling a stainless steel rod material having a diameter less than 6.0 mm, and includes a body part 2 having an approximately circular cross section and a projecting part 3 projecting from the surface of the body part 2. The projecting part 3 includes two rib parts 30 continuously extending in the axial direction of the body part 2, and a number of knot parts 31 connecting the two rib parts 30 and arranged at intervals in the axial direction. The knot parts 31 are arranged so as to extend in a direction oblique to the axial direction, and the rib part 30 and the knot part 31 are present on the outer peripheral part of a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction at any position in the axial direction.
