Even in the case a vortex flow is generated around a tubular rotary body 13 accompanying the rotation of the rotary body 13, a nonmetallic inclusion 19 floating on the surface 18 of molten metal 12 is intercepted by an annular projection 17 provided on the intermediate part of the tubular rotary body 13 and is not more deeply entangled in the inside of the molten metal 12, so that the defect of hard spots in a cast product caused by the nonmetallic inclusion 19 can be prevented.
