Abstract:

To provide a biodegradable short fiber capable of providing fiber-mixed reinforcing soil having good planting to slope and capable of preventing erosion to slope as much as possible when used for bank protection work, etc., of rivers and not having bad influence on the environment.

The degradable short fiber is composed of cellulose acetate having ≥45% degree of acetylation and has ≥5cN tensile strength of the fiber and ≥50 mm fiber length.
