PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the cutting oil and chips adhered to a work without using a washing liquid by winding a tape adhered with a tacky adhesive material on its one surface to a supply reel, winding the one end of the tape on a take-up reel and providing the device with a pressing means for pressing the surface affixed with the tacky adhesive material to the work in the position of the tape existing between both reels.
SOLUTION: The urethane rubber of the pressing means 8 and a surface 1a to be degreased are disposed to face each other in the state that the tacky adhesive material is held affixed to the left surface of the gum tape 7. When a rod 4a of a hydraulic cylinder is projected, the left surface of the gum tape 7 comes into contact with the surface 1a to be degreased. Next, the cylinder rod of the pressing means 8 projects and the urethane rubber presses the gum tape 7 leftward, thereby forcing the cutting oil and chips on the surface 1a to be degreased to adhere to the gum tape 7. When a slide base on a moving base 3 moves rightward, the gum tape 7 is pulled from the surface 1a to be degreased and is parted by the rod 4a of the hydraulic cylinder until finally the tape is taken up on the take-up reel 6.
