Title:
DEHALOGENATION TREATMENT METHOD OF OLEFIN, AND CONTINUOUS POLYMERIZATION METHOD OF OLEFIN USING TREATED OBJECT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013173688
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for removing not only an inorganic halogen compound but also an organic halogen compound, in the case of reducing a residual halogen concentration in an unreacted C4 fraction separated from a product, when performing a polymerization reaction by using the C4 fraction as a raw material and by using a halogen-contaning catalyst.

Concerning a method for producing a polyolefin in which a reaction mixture is produced by polymerizing olefin in the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst containing halogen in an inactive organic solvent, and a catalyst is separated from the reaction mixture and/or inactivated in discharged materials, and a polymer is obtained from the inactivated reaction mixture by distillation, in a method for refining olefin or olefin and an inactive organic solvent, a dehalogenation treatment is performed by bringing unreacted olefin containing a trace amount of halogen or unreacted olefin and the inactive organic solvent to be distilled away from the inactivated reaction mixture into contact with a dehalogenation agent in a liquid phase.
