Abstract:

To provide a dehumidifier accurately detecting a drying degree of a drying object, and drying the drying object further quickly.

By including a dehumidifying means 5 for removing moisture in passing air, a blow fan 2 supplying dry air B obtained by sucking in indoor air A and passing it through the dehumidifying means 5 into a room, an indoor temperature detecting sensor 3 detecting a temperature of the indoor air A, an indoor humidity sensor 4 detecting humidity of the indoor air A, a wind direction changing means 1 for changing a blowing direction of the dry air B, an infrared sensor 6 detecting a surface temperature of a predetermined area including the drying object without contact, and a control means 7 for detecting a drying state of the drying object from a detection result of the infrared sensor 6 and controlling operation of the wind direction changing means 1, and composing the infrared sensor 6 to detect a surface temperature substantially in the same direction as the blowing direction of the dry air B blown by the wind direction changing means 1, erroneous detection of the infrared sensor 6 due to influence of the dry air B can be suppressed.
