The dehumidifier is provided with a vertical direction louver 1a for changing the wind direction of dry air B to the indoor vertical direction, a horizontal direction louver 1b for changing the wind direction to the indoor horizontal direction, a vertical direction rotary motor 1c for rotationally driving the vertical direction louver 1a, a horizontal direction rotary motor 1d for rotationally driving the horizontal direction louver 1d, an infrared absorption membrane 6a receiving heat radiation emitted from the surface of a prescribed region containing the drying object, a thermistor 6b detecting the temperature of the infrared absorption membrane 6a. The infrared sensor 6 always detects precisely the surface temperature of the drying object by being constructed so that the surface temperature in the substantially same direction as the blowing direction of the drying air B may be detected.
