To provide a simple and compact dehumidifier having a dehumidifying function and, also, appropriate to dry clothes.

This dehumidifier is provided with a dehumidifying unit 1, a dehumidifying fan 4 for dehumidifying inside 3 a room by sucking indoor air 2, passing it through the dehumidifying unit 1 and, thereafter, returning it to the inside 3 the room, a drying fan 6 for drying clothes by blowing the indoor air 2 sucked through a dehumidifying passage 5 by the dehumidifying fan 4 toward the clothes. This dehumidifier is also provided with a dehumidifying mode for driving the dehumidifying unit 1 and the dehumidifying fan 4 and a clothes drying mode for driving the dehumidifying fan 4 and the drying fan 6 to dry the clothes.
