Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a compact dehumidifier which can be installed with no need of a duct pipeline.

CONSTITUTION: Air to be dehumidified is sucked by an electric motor fan 2 from one channel 3a of a sensible heat-exchanger 3, steam in the air is dehumidified by a dehumidifying material 5 put in the rear of the electric motor fan 2, and the air is discharged through a channel 3b in the other side of the sensible heat-exchanger 3 and a heater 4 which is turned ON/OFF periodically is installed between the electric motor fan 2 and the dehumidifying material 5. Air is dehumidified by producing dews in the sensible heat-exchanger 3 by sending the air heated by the heater 4 to the channel 3b in the other side through the dehumidifying material 5 and recovering the dews and the dehumidifier does not need a duct pipeline and thus is easy to be installed.
