Abstract:
To provide a method for washing dehydrated cakes in a filter press, serially washing dehydrated cakes in all filter chambers via a communication passage for communicating each filter chamber by supplying wash water from one side of a closed filter plate array.SOLUTION: A method for washing dehydrated cakes in a filter press includes: serially forming a wash water passage by communicating filter chambers adjacent each other; closing valves disposed in a supply passage of a stock solution and a discharge passage of a filtrate discharge; opening valves disposed in a supply passage and a discharge passage of wash water; supplying wash water from one side of the wash water passage; sequentially extruding impurities of dehydrated cakes in each filter chamber to a filter chamber on the next stage; and discharging wash water and impurities from the other side of the wash water passage. All supply amounts can be used without waste for washing the dehydrated cakes, and the wash water amounts can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
