Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent lowering the yield of the fibers in a stock liquor conveyed in such a way as to be sandwiched between two sheets of wires due to the dehydrating blades mounted on the respective wires.
CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of wires 1, 2 traveling with respective loops formed so as to sandwich a stock liquor are mounted with blades, respectively. One party 20 of the blades serves as a dehydration-suppressive blade, being provided with a planar part 20a supporting the wire and a tilted plane 20b on the wire inlet side of the planar part 20a and forming a wedged space expanding toward the upstream side of the wire traveling direction relatively to the wire plane; while the other party 21 serves as a dehydrating blade provided with a planar part 21a supporting the wire and an edge 21b scraping water on the upstream side of the planar part 21a which, having the edge 21b, is disposed against the wedged space.
