Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydration device and a dehydration method of a filter which can remove moisture contained in a filtration medium of the filter after washing efficiently in a short time.SOLUTION: A dehydration device 1 includes water-absorbing members 4, 5 which absorb moisture of a filtration medium and a moving mechanism 6 which moves water-absorbing members 4, 5 so as to reciprocate an operation of pressing the water-absorbing members 4, 5 against a filter 2 and an operation of separating the water-absorbing members 4, 5 from the filter 2. The moving mechanism 6 moves the water-absorbing members 4, 5 until the filtration medium is deformed upon the pressing operation, aggregates moisture in the filtration medium and forms channels of water between the water-absorbing members 4, 5 and the filtration medium. The moving mechanism 6, upon the separating operation, moves the water-absorbing members 4, 5 so as to return deformation of the filtration medium and be separated from the filter 2. When the deformation of the filtration medium is returned, a region where moisture amount is scarce is formed on a part where the water-absorbing members 4, 5 are brought into contact with the filtration medium and, therefore, the moisture of the filtration medium is absorbed into the water-absorbing members 4, 5 through the channels of water according to capillary phenomenon.
