Title:
DEHYDRATION DEVICE OF TWIN-WIRE FORMER IN PAPER MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3422649
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydration device of twin-wire former in a paper machine capable of improving dispersion of fibers while preventing the strength in the thickness direction of the paper after papermaking from being decreased.
SOLUTION: This dehydration device of twin-wire former in a paper machine has a plane parts 23B to 23F for supporting wire 3 on dehydration-preventing blades 21B to 21F, and tilted surface 24B to 24F for forming a wedge-shaped space extending to the upstream side in the wire traveling direction against the wire face and formed at the wire-entering side of the plane parts 23B to 23F. The peak value of a dehydration pressure is set so as to be gradually higher according as the position is more downstream, by constituting the angles (wedge angles) formed between the tilted surfaces 24B to 24F and the wire 3 so as to be gradually decreased to the downstream side dehydration blade in the traveling direction of a paper raw material liquid 2.
