Abstract:
To provide a dehydration method which forms firm flocs by adding clay to oil-containing organic sludge and then adding crosslinked ionic polymer coagulant solution, can easily perform dehydration, and exhibits the excellent effect, such as an improvement in moisture content of a cake and cake releasability.
After the clay, such as bentonite, is added to the oil-containing organic sludge to modify the sludge, a crosslinked ionic polymer coagulant made by polymerizing a monomer mixture essentially comprising a cationic monomer and a monomer having a plurality of vinyl groups is added to coagulate the sludge, and then the sludge is dehydrated.
