To provide a dehydration processing method of hydrous earth and sand facilitating the treatment after the improvement of character of earth and sand by quickly discharging seepage water of earth and sand irrespective of soft earth and sand in a high hydrated state occurring in shield work or pneumatic caisson work, sludgy earth and sand, etc. mixed with bentonite occurring in an excavator of mud shield or a polymer water-absorbing agent or the like and its character.
The hydrous earth and sand occurring in the case of excavation of shield work, propulsion work or the pneumatic caisson work or the like is dehydrated by using an electric infiltration method and a vibration device consisting of a vibrator. Namely, the hydrous earth and sand 6 is dumped in the earth tank 1 partially opened to be set in the ground, in the semi-ground or on the ground, an electrode for an electric infiltration is provided on the inside of the earth tank 1, and the vibrator vibrating the hydrous earth and sand 6 to be dumped is provided on the inside of the earth tank 1, the electrode is energized, and the hydrous earth and sand is dehydrated while vibrating the earth and sand to make discharge treatment of the hydrous earth and sand after the dehydration.
