Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a dehydration shoe blade capable of easily controlling the pulse pressure generated on the dehydration shoe blade in the case of switching the paper-making operation of a paper machine.
CONSTITUTION: Each T-bar 2, 3 supporting this dehydration shoe blade 1 is divided into two in the wire-moving direction and the T-bar 3 consisting of the latter half piece is vertically movable through a slot 9 by the action of an actuator 11. The T-bars divided into two parts are integrated and moved in vertical direction by the action of an actuator 10. The angle of the shoe blade 1 can be adjusted by the action of the actuator 11 and the shoe blade can be moved in vertical direction by operating the actuator 10.
