Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrator with a twin-wire former having a simple structure and producible at a low cost, related to a method and apparatus for hydrating a paper raw material solution in the twin-wire former of a paper making machine, and also related to a hydration belt suitably used in the dehydration method and apparatus.
SOLUTION: The dehydrator with a twin-wire former in which fibrous suspension placed between two synchronously running wires 3, 4 is dehydrated. A guiding member 10 for guiding one of the two wires 3, 4 and a belt 30 running synchronously with the wire 4 while the belt is pressed to the wire 4 by the guiding member 10 are provided. The belt 30 has a plurality of through-holes.
