Abstract:
To provide a dehydrogenation catalyst having a high activity for hydrocarbon fuels and a high formation rate of hydrogen gas.
The dehydrogenation catalyst 11 is composed of the second component (Ce) 11b carried on a carrier 11c and Pt (catalyst metal) 11a carried on the above component 11b and can be suitably used for dehydrogenation of the hydrocarbon fuels, especially decalin or tetralin. In addition, the dehydrogenation catalyst 11 can be suitably used for a reaction in a hydrogen gas generator to supply hydrogen gas to an apparatus to use the hydrogen gas.
