PURPOSE: To efficiently fractionate various components from a liq. to be treated by controlling a circulating pump so that the best control state in each stage in the preceding cycle of a spurious moving bed is applied to the same stage in the succeeding cycle.
CONSTITUTION: Beds LC1WLC12 packed with a solid absorbent are endlessly connected in series to form the spurious moving bed, circulating pumps PR1WPR11 are arranged between the respective two consecutive packed beds, and a liq. is circulated in the direction as shown by the arrow. A liq. D to be treated is supplied from a pump PD, and an eluent F is supplied from a pump PF. The two components of the liq. to be treated are discharged respectively from discharge systems A and B. Pressure detectors PG1WPG11 are provided to the respective circulating pumps PR1WPR11, the detected value is sent to a controller along with a flow rate signal, and the speeds of the respective circulating pumps PR1WPR11 are controlled so that the flow rate of the circulating system is controlled to a desired value. Accordingly, even when the stages are switched, the flow rate in the circulating passage can be stabilized in a short time.
