To provide a delay switch capable of operating a load to make a delay motion and another load not making delay motion but to be used simultaneously through the opening/closing operations of one opening and closing element.
An opening and closing element SA are able to put on and off two contacts S1 and S2 simultaneously, and when they S1 and S2 are put on, AC power is supplied to an illumination load S and ventilation fan F. A delay circuit DL is to turn on a switching element Q1 in parallel connection with a series circuitry of the contact S and fan F and the primary side of the first current transformer CT1. If the opening and closing element SA is turned on, output from the first current transformer CT1 goes out, but the delay circuit DL holds the turned-on condition of the switching element Q1 for a certain period of time in cooperation with the timer circuit DL1 and a continuity holding circuit DL3. Accordingly the illumination load S is put off instantly, while the fan F is stopped with a certain period delayed.
