To provide a delay-locked loop device and a method of operating the same.SOLUTION: A delay-locked loop device includes a delay line, a copy circuit, a phase detector and a delay controller. The delay line delays an input clock according to a delay code, and provides the delayed clock. The copy circuit generates a feedback clock based on the delayed clock. The phase detector compares the input clock with the feedback clock to generate a delay control signal. Based on a control clock, the delay controller generates a delay code at a first time point according to the delay control signal, delays a copy delay time length, and provides the delay code to the delay line at a second time point. The delay line adjusts the input clock at the second time point. The period of the control clock is adjusted to be larger than the copy delay time length.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
