PURPOSE: To make possible the automatic delivery of the coil from the uncoiler, by installing in the bracket swiveled with the cylinder, the space for detecting the sheet coil end, the detecting lever, and the clamp leverl for clamping the sheet coil end.
CONSTITUTION: On purpose to detect the end of the sheet coil 38, the detecting lever 26 and the clamp lever 31 are set, and besides, the truck 14 is moved to the right side, under the condition that the cylinder 21 is being projected out, so far as the touch roll 27 contacts with surface of the coil 38. Next, the truck 14 is stopped; and with the start of rotation of the uncoiler, the coil end is scooped by the nail part at the tip of the detecting lever 26 and is inserted into the space 32; hereby, the coil end touches on the touch switch under the space 32, and the signal is produced. According to this signal, the rotation of the uncoiler is stopped, and at the same time, the clamp lever 31 is swiveled in the direction Y to catch the coil end. Next, the cylinder 21 is actuated to bring the bracket 23 into the condition of the imaginary line A. At this point, the cylinder 30 is actuated to swivel the lever 26 in the direction Z.
