Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid delay in delivery or a damage of unarrival in a one-to-one communication call in the case of call restriction on the occurrence of burst traffic by a multiple address communication call in multiple address communication.
SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a multiple address communication call by a stored communication processor 10, a multiple address communication line reservation device 14 calculates number of lines required for delivery and makes reservation to a line connection controller 18. The line connection controller 18 decides a restricted line number used for the multiple address communication call and shares the available line number with the multiple address communication call and one-to-one communication call. A system management controller 19 restricts in advance the multiple address communication call when the total number of reserved lines for multiple address communication calls including delivery waiting calls exceeds a restricted number. Furthermore, a delivery control processor 16 decides expansion delivery number and makes delivery expansion while monitoring a delivery wait state and an idle line number. The delivery control processor 16 extracts a call to a destination to be expanded and communication information, makes a line connection request to the line connection controller 18 and delivers the call via an exchange 13.
