To notify a recipient of the delivery of a cargo before the recipient confirms a redelivery request slip when the cargo is delivered when absent from home and to enable the recipient to input information on a redelivery of a cargo with a simple operation.

A delivery person transmits undelivery information, which includes; information indicating that a recipient is absent; a slip number; recipient-specific information; and so on, to a delivery computer through an information processing terminal carried by the delivery person when the recipient is absent. The delivery computer reads out the electronic mail address of the recipient from a storage means based on the recipient-specific information included in the undelivery information and then transmits redelivery request information, which includes the slip number, the telephone number of the delivery person and a URL address of a redelivery reception Web, to the electronic mail address of the recipient.
