To provide a delivery method for a tape capable of stably delivering the tape by suppressing the occurrence of twist and elongation when the tape such as a synthetic resin chuck tape is delivered from a drum for use.
In this delivery method for the tape 2, a drum 3 around which the tape 2 is wrapped is horizontally disposed on a rotating stand 10 and the tape 2 is delivered from the drum 3 upward, the number of times that the tape 2 turning about the core 3b of the drum 3 passes a reference position or the delivered speed of the tape is detected, and the rotating stand 10 is rotated in a direction reverse to the turning direction of the tape 2 according to the specified number of times of the passing of the tape 2 or the speed of the delivered tape. The method is desirably be used as a delivery means for the synthetic resin chuck tape 2 (clamping device) on which twist and elongation is liable to occur.
