Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a zinc compd. as a nutrition enrichment by coating a core material containing a zinc compd. with a hydrophilic coating containing a hydrocolloid material and with a hydrophobic coating such as fat and wax. CONSTITUTION: A core material containing a zinc compd. selected from inorg. salt of zinc, org. salt of zinc, or mixture of these is covered with a hydrophilic coating containing a hydrocolloid material by 10 to 50wt.% of the core material by a fluidized bed coating method or the like. Then the hydrophilic coating is covered with a hydrophobic coating comprising fat, fatty acid, wax or mixture of these by 20 to 100wt.% of the sum weight of the core material and the hydrophilic coating by spray freezing method or the like. Thus, a delivery system for a zinc compd. can be obtd.
