To provide a demagnetizing coil settling method capable of reducing misfit and a demagnetization control method using it.
This demagnetizing coil settling method of a marine vessel having an M coil, an L coil and an A coil as demagnetizing coils is characterized by having a first evaluation step to simultaneously evaluate an influence which the M coil gives to demagnetization in the longitudinal direction, an influence which the L coil gives to the demagnetization in the longitudinal direction and an influence the which L coil gives to demagnetization in the vertical direction, a first deciding step to decide an electrifying quantity of the M coil and the L coil on the basis of a result of the first evaluation step, a second evaluation step to evaluate the influence which the A coil gives to the demagnetization in the vertical direction and a second deciding step to decide the electrifying quantity of the A coil on the basis of a result of the second evaluation step.
