Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand prediction device capable of predicting demand amount with high accuracy even in a prediction condition, appearance frequency of which is small in the past.SOLUTION: A demand prediction device 2 according to the invention includes an appearance frequency determination unit 21, a similar condition search unit 23, and a demand prediction calculation unit 22. When it is determined that appearance frequency in the past of a prediction condition is equal to or less than a predetermined frequency by the appearance frequency determination unit 21, the similar condition search unit 23 obtains a similar condition corresponding to the prediction condition from a similar condition database 24c and obtains data on a demand model pattern corresponding to the similar condition obtained from a demand pattern database 24d. Then, the demand prediction calculation unit 22 performs demand prediction on the basis of the data on the demand model pattern corresponding to the similar condition obtained by the similar condition search unit 23 and an actual value of water demand in the past obtained from an actual value database 24b.
