PURPOSE: To minimize the scattering of indicating temperature compared with set temperature by a method wherein stopping commands are inputted sequentially into machines except machines registered to be prohibited from stopping upon generating demand signals in the demand in which the charge of electric power is restricted to an amount below a predetermined amount by limiting the consuming amount of electric power for the refrigerating and air-conditioning machine.
CONSTITUTION: Inputs 2A of the set temperatures, indicating temperatures and the like of respective refrigerating and air-conditioning machines as well as the auxiliary machines thereof, are inputted into a central control unit 4 at all times through an input unit 4a (step 41) and are memorized in a memory unit 4b. On the other hand, the demand signals 1A are inputted upon demanding from a demand controller 1 through an input unit 4c and are memorized in the memory unit 4d. During registering of prohibition of demand stop, the demand is inputted by the operation of a key in the input unit 4c of the central control unit 4 and is memorized in the memory unit 4f. When the central control unit 4 inputs the demand signal 1A, the central control unit 4 calls immediately the set temperature and indicating temperature in the memory unit 4b to operate the degrees of margins in temperatures of respective stores and rooms (step 42), calls also the register of order of stop prohibition (step 44) from the memory unit 4f upon demanding (step 43) and outputs the stopping demand to the machine excluding the machines prohibited from stopping and having the highest margin in temperature (step 45).
